Lookbook: A Day in Vegas

With wedding plans moving along, it's time to think about my bachelorette party, and where better to hold it than Las Vegas! I just booked my flight last night and I'm super excited since it will also be my first time visiting. There are many beautiful and unique hotels to choose from in Vegas, one of them being the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. This luxury resort casino and hotel on the Las Vegas Strip exhibits an urban and modern New York flair, which is just my style. This was a great opportunity to plan out my outfits and take on Cosmopolitan Las Vegas style challenge. So here's my take on a day at the Cosmo.
A start to the weekend with my girls must include brunch! The Wicked Spoon inside the Cosmopolitan specializes in a variety of American comfort foods. Just what we need after a long work week and flight to Vegas. The Wicked Spoon is unlike traditional buffets, offering an elegant sit-down experience with a calm and quiet atmosphere, and portions are reasonably sized on small plates. With that in mind, I would pick a simple and structured printed A-line dress to wear. This satin floral printed dress from Top Shop screams classy. Pair with some nude ankle strapped heels, a statement necklace, and structured purse and you're ready to go. To transition this outfit for dinner, you can throw on a clean cut leather jacket. It'll give you that edge-y look for the evening. I would recommend Jaleo for some authentic Spanish tapas. Yum!
What's a bachelorette party without a good party ;) The Marquee at Cosmopolitan Las Vegas seems like the perfect venue to dance all night long. They offer three rooms with three different music genres that's sure to pique your interest. There's something for everyone. As the bride-to-be and center of attention for the night, I would wear a sexy stand-out dress, and I'm really digging red right now. And hey, maybe I'll go all out with some sexy red-soled heels and voluminous curls. Can't forget the red lips, winged eyeliner, and false lashes. It's my night to shine. I look forward to a fun day out with my girlfriends and whatever else they may have planned that weekend ;)
