I've always thought bunting signs were really cute. This wedding gave me an excuse to make my own. I wanted a picture of us holding a sign saying "Thank You" that I could use for my Thank You cards after the wedding. So I decided on a burlap bunting triangles sign.
A week before my wedding a friend of mine suggested adding games to the wedding. I'm usually one to avoid participating in games so I hadn't thought about this at all and I had too much on my mind already with wedding planning. I was bored that day so I decided to google it anyway. Nothing really caught my eye until I read about "The Shoe Game" .
I debated whether I should write this post since it's been so long already but I do have a lot to share about the topic and some helpful advice. I put careful thought into every aspect of my wedding, even how I prepared my hair for the big day and what kind of accessories to wear.
I'm so excited to share a Harry Potter themed bridal shower I was a part of planning. The bride is a huge HP fan and this was the first theme that popped in my head when we started brainstorming. There are so many good ideas that you can incorporate in a Harry Potter party. I wish we could have included even more but I think we did a fantastic job making it all come together.
Did you know? Wedding shoe pictures are thing ;) My favorite thing about weddings are the details. I wanted everything to fall together from head to toe. When I laid eyes on a pair of Valentino nude bow pumps I couldn't stop thinking about how perfect they would go with the dress I wanted. You can read about my search for them HERE. To go with the rustic theme and grey suits, I found Cole Haan cognac wingtip oxfords for Kwang from Marshalls.
The first step in my wedding planning days was asking my girlfriends to be my bridesmaid with these Bridesmaid Boxes. I picked out Mint Dresses and ask them to wear nude heels. I loved how delicate and pretty we all looked.
There are always wedding photos with groomsmen wearing fun socks. I think it's a really cute detail if done right. I found exactly 6 colors in these polka dot socks from Forever 21. I think they went really well paired with the grey suits and brown dress shoes.
Stay tuned for my next post on my wedding colors!
